Last week Hugo and I enjoyed a middle of the week date night at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. We both had been there many times, but neither of us had ever seen a movie there, nor had we ever been inside the historic theatre. We saw the Ben Stiller movie,
The Watch, an American comedy premiered at Grauman's a few days prior to our being there.
Before the movie, we got to participate in a private guided tour. The best tour guide on the planet, Levi Tinker, met us at the entrance, and took us throughout the theatre, and outside in the forecourt for nearly a half hour, passionately sharing details and facts from history that pertain to one of the most famous locations in California.
You can read my Life in LA review here. I wrote about some of the highlights shared with us from Levi Tinker's brain. So much information. He gave us behind the scenes tidbits, and shared stories about our favorite stars' special moments at Grauman's that we hadn't heard before.
My Life in L.A. publisher is only able to publish a few pictures with each article, but Grauman's promoter, Jerry Brown (not the Governor of California, but a really, really, really awesome guy), gave me so many great pictures, I had to share them here.
