Mary Mom Update #2 From Today

Just hours after I posted news of my Mary Mom's cancer Mary Mom Update, I received an email from my ex-husband.

Over the weekend, the Oncology Team attempted to hydrate her for 10 hours prior to the beginning of Chemo (to protect her kidneys).   Fluid ended up settling in her lungs.  She also developed an infection from elsewhere (not sure what that means...elsewhere in her body, or an infection from something else??).  As a result, Chemo was put on hold while her body returned to "decent status," according to the email.  He said she is doing well, and they are planning on starting Chemo in 24 hours or so.  He's guessing Thursday morning.

If something else happens to further delay Chemo, they will start radiation to halt the growth of the tumor.
